BEAUTY DIARIES: SPRING TIME BEAUTY FAVES

We are finally seeing some the signs of Spring. Temps are above zero and the snow is slowly melting. Beautiful sunshine, and longer days means I am gearing up for spring! I love that spring time smell in the air, when everything feels fresh and everything that was gray and brown is now full colour. So, I have started dreaming about spring already and picking some of my favorite spring beauty faves! It is no secret that I love feminine fragrances, and pretty blushes. I have complied a list below to help you find the exact items and get ready for the wonderful weather!

Things I am curently loving

I have had a hectic few weeks lately with work, conferences, plus trying to lose weight so working out more regularly (it's not working!!)...hah but anyway, I have found a few things to help me cope with a busy stressful schedule..

#1: Lavender! I got a bottle of dried lavender for multi-use around the house. I decided to add some to the bath one day, and let me tell you it's a game changer! It helps with stress and the smell of lavender is so soothing, it will help combat any sort of stressful week you might be having!

#2: Lovefresh products. This is a Toronto based company with all natural, chemical free products! They not only smell amazing but feel great on your body. The products range from hand lotions, scrubs, body butter and all natural deodorant!

#3: Flower Bomb! This fragrance is just divine!! With my love for floral fragrances, I had to give it a try, and it does not disappoint! Everlasting subtle floral and feminine, this might just become my go-to perfume!

#4: Pearl back earrings. Since not all of us can afford Dior, I am happy to see replicas of the famous Pearl back earrings. They can be found in any accessory store, or even online boutiques. I fell in love with both black and white, they are so elegant and classy, and would make a great Christmas present!

My Favourite Fragrances

Today I give you some of my favorite perfumes. Up until this year I was never really been into perfumes. Only perfume I ever used was Clinique "Happy", only because I recieved a sample of it about 15 years ago. It is just a unique fragrance I fell in love it right away and I still love it. After "Happy", I tried "Happy Heart". The more floral fragrance and well that's about it...until this year! I seemed to have fallen in love with perfumes.
I dress mostly in black but I love all things feminine. The smell of flowers, pretty pink hues, I give you my favorite feminine perfumes.

First, my husband got me subtle floral fragrance from Coach (he knows me so well!), then I tried the Dior Blooming Bouquet and I simply had to have it! The color, the packaging, the essence of spring in a bottle..I couldn't resist! Being in love with Baies (candle) by Diptyque, it only makes sense that I would fall in love with L'Ombre dans l'Eau..it is the most intoxicating fragrance, yet so natural. It is as if I walked in the most beautiful gardens in Paris. Sticking to my floral obsession I love the Roses et Reines by L'Occtaine. The vintage feel of the bottle is what drove me to try it, and subtle mix of roses is as girly as you get. Last but not the least, Jo Malone Peony & Blush suede. The sweet peony smell is long lasting and I get so many compliments every time I use it! I bought a smaller size just so I could throw it in my purse and always have it with me!

Move Over Diptyque

First of all, another apology for disappearing again! There seems to be a lot going on in my personal life (good things..thankfully) but it's had completely derailed my blogging schedule. I know I probably won't be able to blog as often but I will surely make time to at least post a few times in a week.

Okay soo, I have recently fell in love with peonies. They looks so efforlessly chic! I mean they are not prissy, they are not overly elegant, they are so relaxed looking looking flowers as if they know they are beautiful and they don't even have to try!

Well being in suburban GTA (Toronto area), it is kind of hard to find these beauties! Luckily there is abundance of them in some of the downtown shops so I can always make a trip and grab a bunch. But what I love even more than the flower itself is its most amazing smell!  These was a flower back in India which had a very similar smell to Peony, so naturally this takes me back to my childhood days and makes me love this flower even more. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this lovely Peony fragrance candle I found at Indigo!

 

And can I just say, I am in LOVE!! Not only does it smell  heavenly, but it fills up the whole house! I have spent money on a lot of candles, and well other than Diptyque they have generally been a disappointment. So I am absolutely thrilled that I can actually a candle that actually delivers!

As much as I love Diptyque, my wallet is definitely thanking me for finding this box of happiness!
