HOME DECOR: WHAT IS YOUR DECOR PERSONALITY?

White bedrooms, aren't they beautiful? After a long day at work, we all just want to escape to our own personal oasis, and nothing is more calming than a beautiful White bedroom. Trouble is, a white bedroom can look a bit cold, and you don't want a cold room with no personality at the end of the day. It should be cozy and it should reflect who you are. I have gathered a few bedrooms that would reflect different personalities. I, for example, am mostly a romantic, but sharing my bedroom with the husband wouldn't allow me to go all flowers and butterflies everywhere. We both like to travel, so a white bedroom with a travel theme would work for both of us. (I use the word "theme" loosely, no bedroom should have an obvious theme, it should just reflect your true personality).

Before you start decorating your home, it is important to know what your style is. Best way to find out is through Pinterest. Just Pin whatever appeals to you, then sit back and analyze the common thread between all the pictures. It is a great tool to really figure out your own decor personality!

Good Morning ladies..hope your weekend was wonderful. I enjoyed the milder side of winter on Sunday, even though Saturday wanted me to book a flight outta here and fly to a warm tropical Paradise. Every time we hit sub frozen temps, I start dreaming of spring! I start craving pretty colors and flowers. Which is why I have rounded up Chapters Indigo's Spring home collection.. La Fashionista: Trending sarees

Saris are going through a crazy transition right now. Traditionally they used to be either heavily embroidered or simple with prints. But now you can have it all, prints mixed with embroidered tulle, tulle mixed with heavy velvet, or just simple graphic prints! It is so hard to decide what to buy now, but I think I have a favorite in the mix, can you spot it ;) .

The floral pink and black tulle, simple yet elegant, it has all the trends in one sari! But if I could afford them I would buy them all!

La Fashionista: Flats and Sandals

Even though it is technically winter, I can't help but daydream about spring. Anthropologie's new summer shoe collection is so dreamy! I am in love with each and every single piece, the colours are so beautiful. I love all the neutrals and a hint of colour here and there.

 I like the muted metallics, and how cute are the banana leaf ones! My fave have to be the black spot flats.

When I first saw dark blooms on the runway, something like this image came to my mind, and I was in love right away!

Even though this trend  has been for sometime, it is not slowing down! It has been all over the runways for a few years, and showed up in dresses, jackets, even scarfs and shoes! I personally bought a scarf simply so I could wear this trend everyday! But I knew these big dark florals was here to stay when I was walking by the Adidas store and saw floral hoodies and t shirts! So I compiled a few of my favorite pictures of this trend.
