Decortative designer scented candles shopping guide: Jo Malone, Tory Burch, Diptyque, Jonathan Adler, Fornasetti

If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with candles. They are not justan object to place in a corner (to make the room smell good), candles are part of the decor me. I am so obsessed with them that I have actually have a drawer dedicated to my candle hoarding. You all know I am obsessed with diptyque candles, but there are so many more varieties out there. Tory Burch and Jo Malone candles just smell heavenly. But, if you want a decor piece, look no further than Jonathan Adler candles, where he mixes his beautiful  pottery with unique fragrances. My new obsession is Fornasetti candles though, I mean how beautiful are these graphic votives. Click below for the direct links to the candles!

Princess Margaret Showhome in Oakville

This past weekend I had the privilege too see the Princess Margret showroom in Oakville and meet with the designer Brian Glucktein. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Mr. Gluckstein, so having the opportunity to view one of his master pieces was a dream come true!

Every year Princess Margret Cancer Center holds sweepstakes, giving away luxury homes, downtown penthouse,  Ferrari and much more! This home being the largest prize, one lucky winner can pack their bags and move into this amazing estate by December! This home is valued at $3,995,000 and is nothing short of a luxurious oasis in the middle of one of the most coveted neighborhoods in Ontario. It is 6,5000 square foot with three floors of living space.

The tickets are still on sale, so please go to this LINK and buy one today! Just imagine living in this gorgeous home..

Now, I did make one mistake, I forgot to take my wide-angle lens with me. Which means not being able to capture a full view of the rooms as they are seen in person. I have attached a link to the official site where you can view the full Gallery. There are a few things I couldn't capture such a various bathrooms and powder rooms (there are 6 in total in the house!) and the Kitchen. Please see the link above. So, let's begin to the fun part! I share with you the most beautiful and livable space I have ever seen!

Gray tiles in herringbone pattern (my fave!) on the floor in the foyer, against the bright living room.

The wallpaper seen above is actually hand-embroidered silk! I personally love the chandelier with traditional and modern elements combined seamlessly.

The living room is mostly white/cream with the exception of the accent wall in the back. Light green colour used as accents on cushions which not only adds color but also warmth.

Indian Trend Report

Before I do the Fall 2014 trend report, I figured I should a Lehnga report. I am loving all the pastels with Gota work, for a simple look. It is prefect for the smaller functions or for bridesmaids! Light and airy, these lehngas would be dream to wear. Even though wedding season is pretty much over in Canada, it is just about to begin in India, so naturally this is when the trends begin for the next year!

First, lets begin with the gorgeous tulle dresses with metallic details. I am in love the soft peachy/blush hues. As I mentioned it would be great for a smaller function..or a big one because they are so light and lovely.

And then we have colours! No Indian function is complete without tonnes of colour, so naturally bright orange and pinks are a must! But I am loving the neutral options with creams and blacks. I the zebra print saree is to die for!

Awesome Friday find!

Happy Friday guys! I normally leave you with beautiful quotes on Fridays, but I found something even better this week! I am loving all the graphic art that you can buy these days, so when I saw this I couldn't contain my excitement. And best of all, it is Free! These are desktop wallpapers created by the talented graphic designer Corina, and can be found on her Blog. I am currently using "believe" myself...Enjoy!
