It has been 6 years since I have moved back from the UK, but there are days when I miss it so much, especially for its amazing shopping! With amazing high street brands, and affordable prices, shopping in England is a fashionista's dream. What amazed me the most about the trends in England, was that how quickly they were translated off the runway. We don't get to see some of the runway looks for at least 6 months to a year after they were shown in fashion weeks, but somehow within a month you could look like a super model. I remember my first time at H&M in Nice, France in 2006, I wasn't familiar with the brand, but as soon as I walked in I picked up half the store to buy! Soon after that H&M made its way to every city in North America. Most other brands are sadly staying overseas but thank god for worldwide shipping! From

Warehouse..you could get the same looks for very reasonable prices. I am starting a new series to showcase trends from across the pond, most do ship to the States, so why not shop European right!
River Island, is one of the edgiest brand in the UK. It is always showcasing rocker chic looks, even Rhianna did a collaboration with them. Being a broke student I did find it a little pricy then, but I am totally on board now. Best part are the sales of course, they have 4 big sales through out the year, that is when you catch real bargains. How awesome are these pieces though, from pastel pinks to edgy leather pieces, even their accessories are on point. I would kill for the quilted black bag.
