MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM 03.22.2015

Finally staying on track this week with my Instragram recap. Still sadly waiting for spring here, with a lot of faux blooms and pretty colours. This week we had St. Patty's Day and National Macaron Day! So, a lot of festive cheer around! Temps are still below zero, but I am staying hopeful and let's see if this week clears up. MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM 03.15.2015

What a week I have had, I am so far behind schedule that I am still recapping last week! It is March Break here in Ontario this week, so my work has been extremely busy. Anyway...so let's talk about last week..when we saw first signs of spring with snow melting and longer days! It got me day dreaming of Cherry Blossoms in High Park, Toronto. I also went to my fave Kitten and the Bear for a Jam tasting, and oh my was it good! You have to try the "Banana/Vanilla" one..just amazing.. and did I mention the tea is also served in Vintage china! I got to Visit the Hudson's Bay on Queen St, Toronto and all the latest products that arrived in home decor. I have to say I am loving the direction The Bay is going into.

MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM 03.08.2015

Wow, looks like I had a really "pretty" week, surrounded by flowers and lovely decor. Weather was still pretty cold all week so my escape was to create something pretty. I did some outfit posts inspired by spring, did a home decor post showcasing 10 beautiful white bedrooms, and scored amazing deals at Zara Home. MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM 02.22.2015

This week was a difficult one. I have been feeling a bit low ever since Valentine' day was officially over. I am not even too crazy about the holiday, but it really does keep my mind off the bitter cold we experience every year around this time. Since we do live in Canada, there isn't much hope for decent weather until April at least..so it gets a bit hard to get excited about things. 

So, I did one thing that cheers me up, shopping! I managed to score a great dress from Forever21, did a travel post about Marrakech, Morocco to at least mentally escape this bitter cold. I also went to the Blo Blow dry bar located in Topshop in Toronto and got myself a fancy hair do! It made me feel like a million bucks! I got pretty bouncy waves and a lot of volume, old Hollywood style! 

I also did the obligatory Rifle paper co. calendar shoot which marks the beginning of each month for me. I love the colors and every calendar print pretty much sets the color tone for that month for me. It inspires me to create something that is more fitting with the events of that month.

Another cold week here in Toronto, but I managed to find a little sign of spring in my supermarket which was filled with tulips! Then, I realized we were amidst a snow storm and got myself a espresso and called it a day!

Dealing with all this cold weather makes me want to take a mini vacay somewhere warm so I decided to start a brand new Travel Series on the blog to share my travels, and give you easy insider tips!

Andd.. I did some spring time shopping for the home and got myself some pretty mint coloured bake-ware!

Phulkari, is embroidery technique from the Punjab region (divided between India and Pakistan) literally means flower working. I wore this Phulkari during one of my wedding festivities. Just Google "Phulkari" and enjoy!
