Hello Ladies, I have been MIA lately and haven't been keeping up with the blogposts. I went to the US last week for a much needed vacation, and as soon as I came back I had to move litterally the very next day to our new place. So..with travelling, packing, moving, not to mention the jet lag, I have been struggling to keep up with the posts.
Anyway..all is good and I am back with another easy DIY! I got these cute little succulents at one of the events I visited last month. They are so small and so cute and were just dying to be DIYed! With the planters being so small, I really didn't see a point in buying a can of spray or even a small tube of paint. I simply opened up my nail polish box and voila!
Okay so let's do this step by step..
Materials:
1. Small sized planters
2. Tape
3. Nail polish
Using tape, create a triangle. I just eyeballed it, as it is so small no need to take this so seriously
Being in the holiday mode, I used a rose gold metallic nail polish..any brand will do
This is what it looked like after the first coat
After 2-3 coats, let it dry for 10 mins before removing the tape.
Once the tape is removed, clean any leaks with tooth-pick dipped in nail polish remover. And if you really mess up you can easily remove the whole thing with the remover and start fresh. I had no real issues other than a few leaks which I cleaned up pretty easily. And that's it! No commitment, and you can do this without having to buy anything at all..and with all the different nail polish colours the possibilities are endless! Enjoy!
